Day 1: Arrive in Santa Barbara

Once you arrive in Santa Barbara and have time to get settled into your room, head to the lobby to find a complimentary wine and cheese happy hour. Featuring local Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara Winery, you can relax on our sunny patio and start your vacation right. After enjoying a warm welcome to our hotel, make your way to the Funk Zone for dinner. Conveniently close to our hotel, there are a number of delicious dining choices. For something more upscale and foodie, we'd recommend Loquita or Les Marchands, or for something more casual but delicious dine at The Patio at Shaloob's. A stroll on Stearn's Wharf after dinner is a great way to catch the sunset and see the remarkable, one-of-a kind Riviera views that Santa Barbara is known for.

Day 2: Relax and Explore

Today is all about relaxing and escaping from the day to day stress of life by immersing yourself in the historic culture and beauty of Santa Barbara. Start your morning slow, and enjoy the deluxe continental breakfast our staff has prepared for you. After breakfast, rent our complimentary beach cruisers and go for a leisurely ride past the harbor, along the waterfront, and eventually up state street.

Once you find yourself on state street, head to La Arcada a quaint paseo that will transport you to a historic time, and enjoy a mimosa on the patio at State and Fig or Viva! Head back to the hotel, because after a mimosa, you'll be ready for a nap. Unplug for the rest of the morning and enjoy the rare treat of a late morning nap by the pool.

An essential for every trip to Santa Barbara is a delicious seafood lunch. Santa Barbara's Brophy Brothers is the best stop for fresh seafood, strong drinks, and gorgeous views of the harbor. Following lunch, head to Casa Del Herrera. This hidden gem in Montecito is a beautiful picture of the Spanish Colonial Revival architecture that Santa Barbara is known for. If you want to explore other Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, check out Jeff Sheldon's downtown architectural tour or head to the Santa Barbara Courthouse for an iconic experience.

End your day with more wine (why not you're on vacation in a world renowned wine region) and mouthwatering cuisine at Toma, just a couple blocks away this special restaurant is listed as the #1 restaurant on Trip Advisor and we think it's as good as the reviews suggest. Come back to the hotel and soak in our whirlpool while you enjoy the cool evening sea breeze.
