Within the past few years, the craft brewery scene in Santa Barbara has exploded. Take a trip and sip along the ale trail to taste one-of-a-kind local brews while supporting the artisan producers who are putting their heart and soul into the craft.

The Funk Zone

Topa Topa is located inside The Waterline, a shared use space, featuring a highly regarded restaurant, tap room, winery, and shops curated by local artists. Brass Bear Brewery opened in 2016 and is a family owned business that brews beer just one block from the Santa Barbara waterfront. Ask the staff about where the Brass Bear name comes from for an incredible story. 28 Anacapa st.. Suite E

Figueroa Mountain Since opening in 2010, Figueroa Mountain has grown to become one of the fastest growing craft breweries in America. Visit their taproom in the Funk Zone to taste their 20+ rotating, seasonal drafts. 137 Anacapa Street, Suite F

The Lagoon District

Telegraph Brewery features rotating American style ales and lagers. Innovation within their beer production is an important part of their work while also respecting tradition. 418 N Salsipuedes St.

Third Window is housed within a restored barn and feed mill originally built in 1904 by the Boykin family. They carry on the 112 year legacy as they work to mill grain and create some of the greatest beer in the world. 406 E Haley St #3 

Downtown Santa Barbara

Draughtsman Ale Works' new Santa Barbara taproom recently opened inside Mosaic Locale a shared space featuring several small food and drink purveyors. Go for the good beer, stay for the donuts and empanadas. 1131 State St.
