The Santa Barbara waterfront’s iconic Riviera views are best enjoyed on the water. Visit Santa Barbara Sailing Center at the harbor to rent hourly kayaks, SUPS, or splurge and enjoy a private sailing charter.

From now until at least Labor Day, beloved State Street in downtown is functioning as a pedestrian promenade. Many restaurants have extended outdoor seating for a safe and fun al fresco dining experience.

Very few things beat oceanfront dining. While we are lucky to have wonderful oceanfront dining in Santa Barbara (think Brophy Bros and the Boathouse) – this option requires no shoes and is even more friendly on the wallet. Put your feet in the sand and pack your favorite beer and grill items.
